We have teamed up with the world-famous creators at NAKED, INC. to build a machine that transforms the streets of Honolulu into a magical playground. Using super-advanced technology called “RideVision,” we turn the bus windows into magic portals.
One minute you are driving down the street in Waikiki, and the next, your bus is submerging underwater to swim with sharks or traveling back in time to watch a volcano erupt! It is like stepping inside a video game where the real world outside and the digital world inside mix together perfectly.

The Quest for the “Mana Stones”
This isn’t just a sightseeing tour—it is an interactive treasure hunt. Hawaii is full of a special, mysterious energy called “Mana.”. Your job is to help us find the Mana Stones hidden all around the island.
These aren’t just rocks—they are magical stones that hold the ancient memories of the earth, the animals, and the plants. As we drive, you will need to keep your eyes open to spot them floating in the digital world.
- Collect Them All: As you journey through the different zones, you will discover these glowing stones hiding in the scenery.
- Unlock the Secret Area: Legend has it that if you collect enough Mana Stones, you might be able to reach a hidden area that other people never get to see. Can your squad find it?
Explore 3 Amazing Worlds
You won’t just be driving on the road. The XploreRide bus travels through
different”zones” where the world completely changes around you:
Level 1: The Deep Sea Area
Take a deep breath! As we leave the city, the bus will seem to submerge into a mysterious underwater world.
- The Underwater City: Watch as real buildings blend with a futuristic city under the sea.
- Marine Life: Look out for Honu (Sea Turtles) and schools of tropical fish swimming right next to your window.
- Coral Reefs: See vibrant coral reefs growing all around the bus in 3D.
Level 2: The Volcano Area
Things are heating up! We travel back in time to when Diamond Head was an active volcano.
- Fire Spirits: Witness the power of the land as the memories of the volcano awaken.
- Magma & History: See how the island was formed by hot magma millions of years ago, right before your eyes.
Level 3: The Flower Area
Experience the true beauty of the island as vibrant flowers and nature spirits come to life around you. This zone is filled with bright colors and shows you the peaceful side of Hawaii’s nature.
Meet Your Team
You aren’t going on this mission alone. You have a powerful guide to help you navigate the spirit world.
- Uncle Manu (The Manta Ray): He is a giant, flying Manta Ray and your main guide. “Uncle Manu” is an ancestral spirit of Hawaii who has been here for a very long time. He possesses a mysterious power and knows all the secrets of the ocean. Listen to him closely—he will help you find the Mana!
- The Honu (Sea Turtles): These aren’t just animals; in our story, they are friends who help guide you through the Deep Sea Area.
Why It’s Super Cool (And Won’t Make You Sick)
You might be wondering, “Will playing a VR game on a moving bus make me feel dizzy?”
Nope! We use a special Japanese technology called RideVision. It connects the VR goggles directly to the bus’s movement.
- When the bus turns left, you turn left in the game.
- When the bus speeds up, you speed up in the game.
Because everything matches perfectly, you don’t get that “yucky” car-sick feeling. In fact, almost no one gets sick on our rides because the technology is so smart!. You just feel like you are flying.
Plus, You Are Saving the Planet! Our bus is huge, but it is also very quiet. That is because it is a Zero-Emission Electric Bus. That means it doesn’t pollute the air with CO2. By riding with us, you are helping to keep Hawaii’s air clean. We even donate money to the Waikīkī Aquarium to help protect the coral reefs you see in the game!.
Where We Go
Our route takes you through the heart of Honolulu’s most famous scenic areas. While the digital magic happens inside the headset, you are traveling through the real world. The 10.3 km loop includes:
- Start/End: DFS Waikiki
- Waikiki Beach: See the coast overlayed with ancient marine life.
- Kapiolani Park: Cruise through the green spaces of the city.
- Diamond Head: Witness the majestic crater while visualizing its volcanic history.

You need to be 7 years or older to ride. This is because the cool VR goggles are a little bit big, and we want to make sure they fit your head perfectly so you can see the Mana Stones!
